im gettin some doors from a 90 d150 from my grandpa they have power windows n locks im puttin them on my 87 d100 because my doors are shot because of the lovley mi winters. my ? is how would i run the wires for the windows n locks my 87 dont have power anything its a stripped down model no ac no nuttin so how would i get power to the locks n window motors?

some models have it pre wired in. run a hot line from the fusebox to the corrolating accessorie an then ground it. get an FSM with a wiring schematic to help an then put in the proper fuse

Look for the hole on the front edge of the new doors, then look on the cab door jamb at about the same level, there may be a knock out hole there already, it not, drill one big enough to run a tube (with the wires in it) through the door jamb, over the lower left side kick panel, then lead the wires up to the fuse box. Add hot leads to the fuse box and plug the door wires into them. If the doors came with a ground wire, run it to a common ground on the firewall... If not, it might be worth your time to run a ground wire from a clean bare metal connection inside the door, to the firewall.
