89 R/C Turn signal

Did the 89 R/C have a speaker for the turn signal? im sure it did, but the R/C I just bought is silent when i turn on the turn signal. If there is a speaker, where is it located? I would like to replace it as soon as possible, since it is a major pain to have to look down and confirm that your turn signal is on. Anyway, the R/C is a 1989 w/ 318, automatic, 4x4, pw, pl. The paint job is brand new and the interior is completely redone. This R/C is my first car and I cant wait to get her out on the beach.

no speaker. you must have a very quiet flasher unit located in the fuse box.
