I have been searching for another crew cab ever since my '77 was totaled last year, that is over as of today ;D I am the proud new owner of a ex brush truck '85 W-350 Crew Cab, rough looking as heck and not home yet but I could not be any happier {win}
Truck specs are, 360, 727/205, Dana 60 front with a 70 rear, rust and more dents than I care to count {lol} I will have pics as soon as I can get some better ones, the ones I have are too small to see.

Plans are to put the 440 4spd from the wrecked crew into this one while I gather the rest of the parts for a Cummins 5spd swap.

The Cummins swap is off the list of mods for good, the turbocharged 440 has more than enough torque to tow what I need moved and I just plain love big blocks.. ;D {yes}

The Crew as it is now.

That is very likely Tony seeing as you are the one who is being kind enough to move it from MD to NC ;)

Feel free to take as many pics as you like, and post them as well before you get it to NC {lol}

holy crap sweet! I'm jealous! I couldn't be any happier with my '77 (well, unless it had a 12V in it) but i wish it was an 80's model one since I now have to switch almost everything but the cab and rear doors to "update" it.... the '92 grill swap & core support turned into hood, cowl and wiper spindles as well, but the 92 grill don't fit the 77 fenders too smooth, so 81-93 fenders will require new front doors too, at that point might as well go ahead and swap the bed too.... ugh... shoot at least the rear doors are all the same LOL

CONGRATULATIONS ANYWAY!!!! Please post even the crappy pics you have of it I wanna see!!! Oh I'm jealous of Dana 60 front & 205 T-case... I love the 203's but full time setups are just hard on fuel...

I would trade with you BHB, but you would still have to do all the above sheet metal swapping as all of it on mine is beat to sh#t {lol}

I love the look of the '72-80 trucks more than the '81-93s, but parts for the later ones can still be found for cheap around here and I have every thing for this truck body-wise and even the right color ;)

I also have a '93 W250 CTD 5spd rolled truck in the works for a Cummins donor, going this weekend to try and crank and run it as it has been sitting since being wrecked in '99 :eek: That should be fun trying to wake a Cummins that has been asleep for over ten years :p

And the best part is what I got this truck for, $310 :eek: For that price who cares about dents?

I should have it up and running with the 440 4spd by spring, and a four inch lift with 33s. Already have a red front clip and front doors, left rear door and a short bed as well, hope that not all of it has to be changed but if so at least I have it all.

I won't be surprised if it does, just happy {yes} I am hoping it will get a little warmer so I can stand to try starting it.

So much for the Cummins donor, turns out it ran on it's roof and locked up :'( May still get it for the 5spd and see if the engine can be rebuilt ;)
