I had found an aluminum or steel gauge panel for the 1979 dash online a while back. I can't find it again. Anyone know of any place that sells one? I am looking to buy one before I go through the hassle of making one myself to do a custom gauge mount.

Thanks!

A dash insert is easy to make anyway. It's just a flat piece with 2 bends.

Actually 3 bends and the top is actually not square. Takes some massaging but CCB is right it is not at all hard to make with the right tools.

Yes three bends if you include the top bend (my bad). To make a template out of cardboard and then trace it onto a sheet of aluminum or even plastic, just get in there and trim the cardboard until it fits the hole and then trace it out.
