I am having an issue with a no crank on a truck that ran fine when parked a couple of years ago.
I have the wiring diagram and would like to take the opportunity to learn how to read and use it to diagnose this issue.
Is there anyone here that can help me with this?
I had received a couple of suggestions on vehicle help but still no progress so I think this might be a better approach
I don’t want to get into what it could or might be, I’d like to figure out where the problem is
I’ve already put some suggested parts on it with no positive results
I am in in no rush to have it running, I’d like to take this opportunity to learn what components of the electrical system enable the cranking sequence starting at the battery.
Is there one guy here that knows wiring diagrams really well that can help me?
I’d like to trace through the diagram to see the starting sequence.
Again I’m attempting to learn something other than what I’ve done in the past which is install parts that may or may not solve the problem.

Turn the key to crank and ram the shifter from park to 1 a few dozen times. It’ll turn over when the neutral safety switch in the transmission unsticks.

Try neutral and park.
