well its anthor members ride (mid_evil_thymz)but hes offline right now so here goes it a 78 trailduster and the alt. is new he say the volt reg is working but dont know for sure so dose anyone know a way to test it and see also if anyone has a 70's truck could you please see what a ohms (spelling?) reading is on the reg
all i realy know is that the alt is new and its not charging and we dont know whats wrong so please help so were not up all night trying to fix it

The VR gets it's ground through the case and the mounting screws...make sure the ground is good. Pull the voltage regulator and have it tested at Autozone or another parts store. Possible bad rebuilt alternator?

allright guys i ve relayed all this info over to him and he want me to thank you for the help im going to head on over there my self in a few and help out you guys rule theres not a problem that rcc can't fix
