Got tired of hauling farm things in a CR-V, so when I was able, I bought a real truck. It needs a little work here and there. not planning on a restoration. I like it with all the dents and scratches, so I won't worry over the paint every time I need to move something. Drove 2 hours back the day I bought it, and no real issues. Horn doesn't seem to work... as though they won't hear me coming. Photo from the day I brought it home.

1978 Dodge W200 Power Wagon, 4WD, Adventurer package, original 440 V-8 and automatic (recently rebuilt), power steering, power brakes, A/C, cruise control (not hooked up), dual fuel tanks, Edlebrock intake and carb, 4.11 gears front and rear. Tires and wheels are from 2012 Dodge 2500.

Nice truck! I hardly see any dents or scratches!
It's a trick. Looks great from a distance. Plenty up close, and the bed is flaking badly. Still, it seems nothing too bad. Just small things.

Thing looks mint, nice buy. Wish I could find something that clean in the Midwest.

Great score! What a beauty. Those front bumperettes were an option.

I'm in Kentucky. Most trucks I'd been looking at were chewed up with rust. Found this one on craigslist in Louisville from a collector who said he had "too many trucks". Whatever that means. I understand the words, but not all together like that. :ROFLMAO:

So I found this site because the wipers don't work. I think they need a bushing. Looks like it's some kind of initiation thing.

Anyway, holy crap, nice details in the repair threads. You guys have a good resource going here.

I have a fix for those bushings over on my story page... My '74 Power Wagon I Ordered from Dodge on 8/73
Sorry it's past my bedtime. If you give me a couple I'll try to hunt it down for you.

I like those modern wheels on it. I normally don't go for that look, but it just works on your truck. Very cool.
Yeah, I prefer the older wheels, too. As best I can tell from the folder of receipts, the guy who had it back in Cali had a specific look he was going for. I like most of his choices.
