Looking for some tips on installing the 2nd gen intercooler with AC before I star cutting on the core support. Am using a 1st intercooled radiator. I want to keep the original front end and even bird bath hood if possible.
If I remember right. you can take the two core supports and cut the middle out of both in the same dimensions and replace the center section only keeping the top, and sides to retain the pre79 look, lights, and hood.
I built a 74 Crew CTD. I used the donor IC core support and cut the headlights out of it and cut the headlights out of a 75 core support and welded them in the 91.5 support. My build is in the Cummins Conversions section on the DTR. I have a lot of pics that might help, I used the bird bath hood and the 1st gen intercooler behind the 74 grill. not much room for AC parts.
