Saw a truck on EBay (parts) close by and wanted to find out what it might have under it. They list it as a Snow Commander 250 3/4 ton, not all of which is correct. It 'should' have a divorced 205 but does anyone know what the axles on it should be in a stock configuration? It's cheap and might be worth a look as a project.

Thanks in advance.

if it is a 3/4 ton it should have a dana 60 rear and a dana 44hd front, being a sno commander it may have a dana 60 front

and it may not have a 205 under it, did the trucks go to fulltime in 74 like the ramchargers were? or did they wait a few years? also it shouldnt be a 250 in 74 it still would have been a 200 series.

also, there is a possiblilty it has a big block in it

Ramchargers/Traildusters got the NP203 fulltime case in '74, trucks got 'em officially in '75, but I've seen some late built '74s that were fulltime, so probably late availability in '74 on trucks. '75s are definitely fulltime...

And, yeah, by the ad, divorced t-case is a 205, and it's probably right since it also says the truck has lockouts...

for what its worth, i know of two w200 sno commanders, both were 203's,d60 rears and d44 hd fronts. one was a '75 (its been crushed though) and the other is a '79.

EDIT: looking at the picture, it might have a d60 front,it looks like it has the big hubs, the fulltime d44 hd's dont have hubs that go through the wheels
