[Runin' With The Devil]

The installation of the 4x4 posi lok looks pretty straight forward. I like the low range options to just the front or rear rears. I'm interested to find out if the indicator light in the dash, ("4x4 Engaged"), still functions like it did before the install. It would be neat to know this feature is maintained. 4x4 Posi Lok's web site doesn't answer this question, that's why I'm relying on you guys.

seems I've read about that somewhere on here before. Try the Product Review Board.
I think the light does still work, it's triggered off the position of the fork if I remember right, so it should still function the same.

Yep, the light will work, as said before, the switch is a plunger-type in the driver's side of the CAD housing. As long as the shift fork gets pulled over far enough, whether by vacuum or by cable, it will push in the switch.
