Need any help installing a 1968 440hp in an 83 Dodge d-100. Truck is equipped with 225/4-speed now. Motor is 1968 440HP from Chrysler 300/w 727 automatic. Please post or e-mail [email protected] Thank you.

im doing the same thing right now with my d100 but mines a 87 with the same motor trans combo u got all u really need is truck motor mounts oil pan n headers/manifolds. the link chump sent is a great kit but u might wanna look n c what u can find on ebay i got some headers off ebay for 61 bucks there almost new. u can use 318/360 motor mounts too but they have 4 holes instead of 2 but they will work.

If it was originally a slant 6 truck I would recommend upgrading the front end w/ 3/4 ton springs. 440 is a LOT heavier than a slant....

Thanks to everyone for the help. Found everything I needed, ended up with set of extra pulleys a/c, truck manifolds, and 68 chrysler hp car manifolds, all for sale.
