The 302 heads aren't going to flow near enough air for your 360. Stick with 360 heads as they flow better. 318's and 360's use the same pushrods if neither are rollar engines. Only the KB 107 pistons will work with closed chamber heads.

thats what i got going in the kb107... and i plan on porting out the 302 heads, after all they were dirt cheap and they already have 188 valves in them.

I'm sure you're aware the 302 heads have a combustion chamber that's approximately 12 to 14 cc smaller than the 360 heads. You're 10:1 CR will increase to 10.5:1 or more depending on the head gasket thickness.

If you got high comp (10:1) and you have broke in the rings on gas your mostly there for a correct "to propane" switch. Get an Impco mixer and regulator, either electric or vacumn operated shut off, line and tank. Thats it. Look around cause you can pick up full used setups for a couple of hundred $. Go online for installation etc instructions. How old is your engine..heads...fresh rebuild? valve job over your later (post 75) heads might mean hard seats needed. Anything pre 75 will need seats for sure. Were stealing Robo's post on him again here so if you want to persue this start a new post in Tech and me or Evil or Camo or somebody will jump in.

Are those things still in the cylinder at TDC? First pic had a piston that looked like it was above the deck. Nice and shiny huh. Look real good. And on propane (assuming no detonation) they should look good for a long time to come.
