Hi guys,  I’m building a 78 macho powerwagon with 360, 435 , and 203 t case. My plans are a 4” lift and 35’s.  I’m not looking to build an extreme 4x rig here just something to cruise around and maybe take fishing and play in the snow.  My question is, Will the front axle bearings hold up. And is there a fix that doesn’t involve switching from the 5 on 4.5 wheel pattern?

Your truck is probably a 150 and probably has a Dana 44 up front. 35's will be fine with the 44 but I wouldn't go bigger. I had 35' on my Macho with a 44 up front and it was fine. I put 33's on it this time because I got a hell of a deal on them but plan on going 35's again. No changes needed.
