here is the deal guys.

i have a chance to get a 1982 d100 for about $250, truck is in nice shape has a /6 with an auto tranny in it.

i have an 84 rc that i have parted out, drivetrain is complete, was wondering what i am looking at in terms of trouble and time to put the rc drivetrain in this 2wd truck.

also, will a /6 bolt up to a v8 tranny? if not no big deal i have a few 318's and an extra 360 laying around.

a whole lot of work. do a search, there are quite a few threads on it. since u have a complete donor, u should have all the parts u need, so u are a little ahead of the game.

Might be easier to put the body on the other frame, the 6 trans is no good for your more questions to come vehicle help project, oh boy the the VH board is gonna be flooded soon

ha ha on the flooding marty. will the truck body fit on an rc frame? i thought there was a difference in length.(106 inches as compared to 108 inches)
i dont want to set the body on there and find out it wont fit.
