241 transfer case spedo addapter?

what does this critter look like?? will a spedo gear from a 2x fit?? thanks..

it looks like a little black box with connections on either end. one end will have a nut on it that bolts to the transfer case, and the other has an end that the speedo cable bolts on to. im not sure if one from a 2x will work, because the adaptor for those went on the transmission. they might be the same though.....try it
