How does a part time conversion kit in a 203 work?
In what shifter position is only the rear wheels drivin?
Does that depend on what kit you buy?

yes. Only one company sells the it for it. Milemarker in Fl.

it is in 2wd in hi & lo. the loc becomes 4wd.

I don't remember the companyname on the box, but I bougth a cheap one. 40 bucks or so. It's not milemarker.
But I was told it was 2wd in hi and lo and 4wd in loc. Any Idea what the milemarker kit costs?

Here are a coupla kits. These have hubs, axle shafts and TC kits. I have the 203 Full-Time in my truck and I'm pretty happy with it. If you wanna change it, go ahead, but I don't see why. My truck has the hubs, but I get no difference in my fuel mileage in 2wd mode. Just so you know, if you free the hubs, you will hafta lock your TC to drive. Not recommended. Anyway, I hope this bit of info helps ya.

I have the part time kit in my 203. I love it. I love having 2wd lo. I also have another part time kit for a 203 if you wanna buy it.
