I traded a 94 Nissan pickup in for this beauty....I think the dealer had no idea how well she runs....so his loss....

I have since replaced the rims....new tires....

Just got her out of the body shop last week....and some woman rearends me....oh well I hated the bumper the previous owner put on....so I get a new one.

I PLAN to put a 4bbl intake and carb....new headers....flowmasters....fresh paint job....

This is how she started and tomorrow I'm taking pics of her current state

your rims look nice. im lookin forward to see more pics. wernt you going to part that one out?
No I had two....this one and an 85 in horrible shape....I was parting out the 85.....I got it first...and was going to fully resore....and a friend called me and told me about the 89 for sale at a dealship....and I went and got it...and decided to part out the crapy one...

Well to make a long story short...I got off the 85 what I needed...and gave it to my body guy....and he only did my body work for $200....and he is doing my paint job for $800....

I say not a bad deal because the guy does excellent work...my father-in-law has a 68 Chevy Corvair in his shop now and it is looking sweet...

I just got the money from the rear-ending....and I have a friend who can get me good prices....looking into a new chrome bumper....new chrome grill assembly....Haven't decided weither to get a chrome grill....or paint a plastic grill the same color as the paint job....any thoughts...???

The paint will be the same color it is now....I like the blue...

I also thought of painting the grille black to go with the black side trim....

lookin' forward to seeing the final pics!
Suggestions ? :)

Shave all of the body trim, have all of the holes welded up, paint it with a mettalic type paint in either a silver or blue. Paint the grill the same color as the body and have them paint the engine compartment the same color as the exterior while they are at it.

I guess what you do depends on what you plan on using the truck for. ;) I have an 88 that I am modding out. It should look pretty good after I am done.

Oh and the TBI will prevent you from doing too many upgrades to the engine....

I just bought my new grille pieces....I got them dirt cheap....paid $280 for new rear bumper...grille surround....chrome grille...chrome left and right head light pieces....chrome tail light set....

What I'm going for now...is a nice looking truck...compared to what she looked like when I got her....I will be doing all of the show truck mods in 2 years when I graduate and have a job making 6 figures....then I'll have the cash to have her done professionally...

Nice rims..I need to do something to make my 91 look better (besides bodywork and paint) Are those oem Dodge rims?
