1987 dodge ram charger ignition wiring help!

Hi I have an 87 ram charger with an ignition wiring problem. It has burned coils shut down all kinds of stuff until recently it started smoking while idling I shut it off it burnt the voltage regulator so I replaced it. Still no fire. Since then I have replaced ignition coil distributor ignition switch. I'm at my wits end. The wiring is all hacked and I just need an ignition wiring diagram for dummies or something because this is making me feel stupid.
