Well, I finally found the right car for my other 440. This one is just a 318 car that someone stickered up with R/T stuff. Other than fixing up small electrical/mechanical things, this ground-up rebuild with a BB won't start until next summer. Still fun to drive like it is now though. :)

Rich? Ha! I wish. Good old fashioned hard work pays for my toys. That, and a lot of 12 hour work days. :(

Sam, I snagged it for 9K. Cheap for a '71, but it still needs a lot of work. The pictures make it look nicer than it is in person.

Adoption papers are available on my web site. My fee is $50,000.00. I will also accept an original 1969 Hemi Roadrunner as payment. ;D

Those pics were taken where I bought the car. They hose down the parking lot before shooting pictures to make them look nice. My driveway on the other hand, is your typical cracked concrete job. ;D

Update: New leafs and shackles in the rear, all four shocks, Centerline wheels with BF T/A's, 235's and 255's front to rear, removed all the lame stickers, replaced the turn signal assembly and added 13" Grant wheel. Still have some wiring issues to solve, motor mounts, and front end stuff, but that will be all until we strip it down and do a complete restoration with the 496/727/D60 drivetrain. :)

Very nice mike :) Damn, by the time you're done with everything, you'll have about 1400 horsepower sitting in your driveway, lucky bugger ;D Keep up the good work with both Mopars. I don't think I'd do a thing differently from what you're doing on that Challenger or the RC 8)

No updates on this one James. I've put it in the garage for the winter, and now the hood has become my second work bench (covered by a big piece of rubber mat). Hopefully, with some luck and some money, we'll start stripping this thing down in the spring. I want to throw it up on a rotisserie, media blast it to bare metal, add the weld-in frame braces, and then paint the whole thing Sherwood metallic green. After that, I'll build it back up with the 496, 727, and D60 in the rear. With the RC, I had to get a shop involved to do the body swap, but with this car, the only thing the "shop" will do is the body and paint; the rest of the build will be just me and my two hands. :)

And thanks for the kind words Dan and Olly!

You guys are too kind. :)

Check this score out: It's a true blue bonafide Dana 60 from a '70 Hemi Cuda. Kind of a shame that it's no longer in it's original place, but it will find a nice new home under my Challenger now, sitting behind the 496 someday...
