1989 (87' US)
I own two new cars which are my dailies, but I've always had nostalgia for older classic cars. The RamCharger has always caught my eye since I was little, so when I so whan listed for sale, and at a very low price, I immediately went to see it for myself, researched all its history and previous owners, everything was in order. Brought it home two years ago and I've enjoyed it plenty. Aesthetically it looks perfect and mechanically it needs some stuff sorted and that's the reason I joined this forum.
This is a 1989 Mexican model, assembled in this very country. The interesting aspect about it is that the US stopped assembling carbureted RamCharger's until 1987, but they kept it going for the Mexican market two more years. From 1990 onwards they came with direct fuel injection (wish I can make the conversion one day) because carburetors are difficult, although I have to admit, the technology of how they function is very interesting.
