Title: Replacing the factory rubber brake hoses with flexible stainless steel.

Weak Link:  Age eventually takes its toll on rubber parts Brake hoses are no exception.

Models affected:  Any vehicle with rubber brake hoses.

What happens: Age and use eventually take its toll on the stock rubber brake hoses. Once the rubber starts to deteriorate you run the risk of rupturing the rubber hoses. The rubber hose will also affect braking performance by not being able to hold the high line pressures needed to operate the brake system. If you add a lift or other suspension modifications to the vehicle you should replace the stock brake hoses with longer ones to keep from ripping the lines from the vehicle.

Sturdy fix: Replacing the stock rubber hoses with braided stainless steel lines will correct the problem. Stainless steel lines will also out last the stock rubber hoses and they will improve braking performance.

Contact: There are several companies that make custom lines for your specific application.
