Slide show Ramchargers at Silver Lake this July, The green and the silver  RC's were some great guys from Michigan. Lucky them that they have this great place to play close by. I have a 5 hr drive one way, but man its worth it.

Thanks for the pic's .  Agree I love early RC's . For know I'm stuck playing with my 84 . They keep closing down all the good spots in my area , all though I did just hear about a place about 45 min's away from me . I'm going to try to get more details and check it out when I'm done working on mine .

Nice trucks! Thanks for sharing the pics. Is that your black 'charger? I thought it had a '79/80 grille on it.  Huh

Bob,
Yes, I changed front clip, I always had a crush on the 1978 RC grill. Collected parts for a long time til I had everything I needed.

It looks even better with the new front clip. All the ramchargers in the slide show are well done, but yours is still my all time favorite.

Let's post any planned trips to Silver Lake on this thread or on the TRIPS forum. I try to go 1-2 times a year.

Bob, thanks for the kind words, everyone has there own preferences, 74-80 or 81 and up. Quad headlites or single. I love em all.  Watch for "stacks79" he has a fantastic 79 lime green RC that is not quite done yet.

Yes, I should have taken more pics.  He had some great tube work. I really like his rear bumper also.
