real nice rig there man.  Hey I'd love to know the color code for it.  Looks like a chocolat brown, and I want to paint our little Dart a similar color.  It is a true brown, and if so is there a color code available for it?

Welcome to the site, and what a great Trailduster!  Beer

Doors and door skins are readily available for pretty low prices. If you have cancer in the rocker panels, I'd have weld in rock sliders put in to replace them. Probably would cost the same as cutting and welding in new rocker panels and be 100x as tough. You also benefit from having a tubular step to get in & out if you design them that way.

Definitely keep us posted on your progress. We all love to see pics of trucks getting fixed up.  Wink

BTW, I love that brown color! If my RC had been that color from the factory, I would have painted it brown again. I could totally see your truck with fresh brown paint, and a tan top and interior.

Another cool color... 2009 Dodge Ram Austin Tan...  Cool

Cool start.  My plymouth had more rot to start.  In my opinion I would opt to keep the air.  I have never had a trailer to haul my love around, but getting stuck in traffic, the sun is relentless and a cool breeze would have been welcomed.

Awesome TD!! Agree  Do you know about the front wheel bearing issues with the full time system? I see that you have deep offset wheels and that does put some extra load on them so they need to be greased and checked more often. The grease fitting is in the hub accessed through a hole in the rotor between the lug studs and should be at the front. The wheels have to be off. There is no bearing adjustment. The only option is replacement if they are loose and it is not easy to replace them but not impossible. I have done them in my Rc and Powerwagon.

Thanks for the tip! I havent had a problem yet and the rims/tires were on it when I got it. Gunna checkem out on my next day off... are the bearings similar to a dann 44 on an IFS bronco?.. used to take them out and grease them every year.......

I don't know about the Bronco bearings. First chance you get you should get the front axel up and check thre wheel bearing play. Just grab the tire and see how much up and down movement there is then take the wheels off and pump some grease in there untill you see some come out around the stub shaft on the inside by the axel u joint. I use boat trailer grease in mine for the water resistance. I am shure that others will have other opinions.
Please chime in guys..

My wife won't let me go see it in person. She's afraid I'll come home with a Rugged Brown Pearl 3500 crew cab. Dang I love those one piece quarter flares.
