There is 1 really small motel and 1 really small diner in Randolph itself. The motel only has about 10-15 rooms, but they are very very cheap. 30-40 bucks a night for 2 beds. They aren't fancy, but they are a nice cool room to sleep in. The campsite is huge and accommodating. Plenty of room for everyone's rigs, trailers, campers, tents, etc. Hopefully we will have the kind of weather we had on Labor Day last year. Highs in the upper 70's and lower 80's. I will try to get in touch with the owner of the motel and let them know we are coming again, and post the contact info on here to book a room. Like I said, they fill up fast.

Who and how many of the 27 who voted are actually going to make this? Who plan to go, but aren't sure for whatever reason? I want to go but am not going to spend the time and money necessary if it's going to be a light turn out.

I'm planning on going, but I may have to hitch a ride on the trails. My RC needs an engine swap, and my 01 needs a new torque converter Need to do the 01 first but would like to have the rc running and ready by RJ. We'll see if the $$ magically appears....

Proof that god hates me. Tuttle Creek is about 30 minutes up the road from me and I'll probably still not be back from Iraq (or just getting off the plane, either way the RC won't be ready). FML.

Holy Crap! This thing is in my back yard almost! I don't know if I will be able to do any "wheelin" but I might go just as well.I do not think the Powerwagon is ready for any serious trails. It only has 235 75 15's and it has a flatbed mounted on the back. All I got to do is to head south and west a little in to kansas. Maybe i'll bring a tent and set it up on the flatbed (haha). I'll try gettin my bud to go with his RC.

Most of the trails aren't serious. A completely stock 91rc with 31x1050's went everywhere I went with a 4" lift and 32's. You can get stuck if you want though.

Actually the trails are quite a bit more intense now. You can still get around pretty good stock but there are alot of trails that will eat you up. I plan on being there. I wont have a rig to wheel but ill be camping out with my 92' 2wd cummins.

The campgrounds are about 5 miles from the OHV park. There is tons of primitive camping and spots with power for campers. I want to say its like $8 a night. There are showers about 2 miles from Fancy Creek campgrounds.

Well, I'm officially
GOING TO MAKE IT. FOR MORE THAN A FEW HOURS!!!! Didn't get resv's booked in time to get a decent spot in Manhattan, but staying in Junction City, which is only about 15 mins down I70 from Manhattan. The wife used her hotel points she gets from her stays with work, so I couldn't really complain. I'll be hanging around in Randolph in the evening on Friday 9-2, and will be back in the morning. Gotta go back to Wichita on Sat night though. If anyone wants to stop in Wichita on their way for a break, give me a shout. I'll meet up with ya for a few. If anyone wants to convoy up after 530 or so, let me know. I'll be bringing the 01.

Met buddman last night. Getting breakfast at the hotel then going to head that way. Takes about 30 minutes to get there from Junction City. For anyone worried about lack of participation, there are plenty of other people here because of the holiday weekend. Anyone who's coming call/text me at 5807432544?

Sounds like KS may beat out AR for the least attended RamJam. What is annoying is all those people that voted to have it in KS didn't bother to show up

I agree, all those voted no shows. Kinda defeats the purpose of voting if no one shows up. Ok Texas Chapter looks like we need to flood the voting, and then actually show up.

And what bothers me is those people who didn't show up bitching about people who didn't show up. We voted when? Jan or Feb? A lot of things change. There were less than 100 votes total so I wadnt expecting a blockbuster turnout, but 10 to 20 would have been nice.
However, even if you voted against the location, if you didn't make it yourself I think the only gripe you can have is lack of truck porn. I'm not saying I regret going. I just wish more people had tried. If the next one is 4 hours or less from you and you don't make it, don't get mad when you get called out for not coming. That's what you are doing right now.

I realize times are hard but I managed to make it. I spent more money than I had to go there and meet members and just wound up meeting dodge88 and mike4x4. I know there were other people within 100 miles that could have atleast come in and said hi. If this is the way its gonna go next time ill just go find some mud and rocks close by atleast then I wont be out a lot of money for a disappointment. It was great meeting you and your family dodge88 and it was nice meeting you to mike4x4 if I get the rc up and going soon maybe ill get my buddy to bring his truck and we will go have some fun just keep in touch

I'm sorry I suck School started Aug. 27 and with this being my second year teaching, I wasn't ready and just could not get away. No more excuses, I'm sorry I didn't make it. I tried to get my junk going, but it sucks when you have a truck done a year in advance and some meth head steals it!

Hey man, no problem on that. I was barely able to make it as it was. Like I said above, stuff happens over the course of 8 months. We still need to meet up sometime. I know we've came close a couple of times, but we need to try to get a KS meet going sometime.
