 I was  Shocked
But it is getting a new life.
cut the bell off the truck trans today
used an old gutted pump housing to mount in brake lathe
followed directions> took a saw to it
but first cut a reference mark on the inside
then  cleaned up the cut.

No, It bolts to the pump with longer pump bolts
and the bevel in the trans, centers the bell.

ride height is 4" off the ground, headers wouldn't go under and didn't want them around the starter.
So, up and over, also wanted to be able to remove valve covers if needed.have header wrap when closer to finish.
plan is a couple of 45* and straight out the back/ flame thrower Grin

Been a busy few months
major flood here (Nashville,tn)
April 20 was 27' ABOVE flood stage of 17'
mom's house flooded
have been tearing out walls and carpet
throwing out all appliances.

parts I ordered were returned cause they couldn't boat the parts to an address
some parts i went to pick up, were soaking wet, that bussiness also was flooded
was 2 weeks before i coud even get to town due to high water or blocked /washed out roads

Thought I was keeping my head above water
mom passed away june 17 Cry

It will be a bit longer, I'll be back, lots of things to take care of first
I did finally get the shear/bender
temp set the body on to do the tin work

Thanks to everyone for the interest in this build

I have really enjoyed your builds and this is one of the top builds I fallow. sorry to hear about your mom and the hard times with the flood and all. keep your head up and noise to the grid stone.
