hey guys ive had this 49 merc pick up since i was 16 ive started do some work on it just messin around with it here and there but i lost interest since i got the ramcharger and stuff but latley ive had the itch to get it done and ive been brewing up some thoughts with it. well since im not much of a ferd guy and i have enough dodge parts to build about 4 ramchargers. ive desided to drop a mopar drive train in this truck. im thinkin the 360 i took outta my ramcharger needs a rebuild anyway so im thinkin a stroker kit and what ever else work i wanna do at the time witha 727 behind it and a 9 1/4 rear end and for the front end i got a 86 fifth ave sub frame so that way i have the disc brake set up with motor mounts and steering already in. even tho its a ferd i still love the look of the truck and im a die hard mopar guy so the mopar drive train will make me feel better about driving it lol heres some pictures of the ugly beast
