Well I came across this a couple weeks ago and couldn't pass it up, I am new to the jeep community and still trying to get all the waves down when you pass another heep , but anyways here are the specs

I-6 with 5 speed
Howell fuel injection
All new Auto Meter gauges
8 inch full traction lift SUA
best top Aqua trail seats
35 in. BFG
Trail Ready bumpers front and rear
Sony sound system with Sirus Radio

In Progress
removed fender flairs
new rims
fabbing tube flat top fenders
crusher rear corners
rock sliders
cage

Future mods
Atlas TC
dana 44 or 60 axles
SOA lift

I want to keep it street legal so I will keep the I-6 for now I just hate not haveing the torque of a V-8

Thanks man.

That price is right in line with what their going for out here ... I hadn't released how much the old Jeeps hold their price ... it almost seems like the older they are, the more they are.
Makes it well worth the time and money for a project.

The Wranglers and CJs hold value very well.

If you are looking for more of a budget wheeler, take a look at the Cherokees.  They are very reasonable, and are rather capable off road.  Plus, you can put more camping stuff in them.

What winch are you going to get ?

Mark I got the mile marker SE9500C winch for $500, I have always ran Warn winches but I don't want to pay the price anymore , I came real close to buying a TABOR 9K for the same price as the Mile Marker
I also found a Smitty Built winch for 299.00 it is a 8K

Wil I've been contemplating that for the last 2 weeks I can get a dana 300 real cheap but I need this as a dd, I did find some narrow track dana 44 for 200 dollars and may go that route

Cool - That's the same one I've been looking at, seems like a good winch for the price.
Also been looking at the others you noted, but didn't know enough about the TABOR - and I agree, Warn prices have really gone over-the-top ....

If I used a winch more I would shell out the coin for a Warn but using one every once in a while I think a Mile Marker will do the trick

Looking good -

How you doing for engine temps with all that stuff in the air flow to the radiator ?
I've been having trouble with my 7 running hot while crawling along slowly, even just in 2xd and low gear ... you know, like running 1000 - 1500 rpms, but only going like 10 mph - not enough air flow,  just wondering ... I'm a little concerned about sticking a winch in front there ....
My engine is in good shape as best as I can tell right now, but I don't like seeing that temp gauge setting @ 220, with out even working it that hard ... even though many people say that's normal and OK, I still don't like it ....

Thanks - good to know that the winch didn't make it any worse  ....
and yeah, I didn't notice this either until it got up to 95 - 100* around here.
I did the 'Nutter' by-pass on the computer this week-end, so mines a little better now that I have the ignition timing back under my control ....

You think that would help ? ... there's that classic argument about hi flow water pumps moving the water too fast though the rad to really cool it, but I've been thinking about trying it. Also been thinking about the Flex-a-lite dual fan set up (model 575) ... but again I've read where people have had that not work either ....

i have heard that arguement for oil pumps. my last cj {258, new oem rad, high flow w/p,} never saw over 185* even with heavy mudding in summer. now it had that when i bought it so i can't do a comparison for that vehicle. it is on the to-do list for this one.
