Hey Bill, I went to Ecology & got seat belts, center console & back seat from them. I found a steering box at a different yard & was lucky enough to find an AGR(?) box for $40. Thanks for the info. I've already spent more than I paid for my R/C, which has my wife VERY unhappy, OH Well she'll get over it. Especially when there is no car payment due next month,HA,HA,HA!!

That's the beauty of this truck. I can totally re-do it & still would not have spent as much as the new Ford I lost!! I can do a lot of work on mt R/C for 35K!!!

Junk yard off 7th Avenue..south of Happy Valley Road has a nearly complete pre 80 ramcharger forsale.  It is orange.. front clip was off, but appeared to be in the truck.. Even has the proper seats and door panels.. They also have a few other RC's out there.. but pretty picked over.

self pull yard on 56th st. just north of chandler blvd,in chandler, has an early 70's truck with divorced xfer case, another with an a833 tranny.  there is another truck there with a nice home made stainless steel rear bumper with built in receiver hitch, and a ramchrger with roll bar.....

If anybodys looking for a push bar like on mine off of a 70's Dodge theres one in a Yard in Casa Grande. Exit 200 North East of the freeway. I was thru there a couple of days ago and saw it over the fence on a 77-78 dodge truck that was missing the right front wheel assy. ( I love being able to see over walls when I drive by makes shopping so much easier LOL)

I was there at Franks on Monday and all the above was still there...I should have grabbed the nameplate. Oh well, I got my rear tire carrier off a Pathfinder there for 25 bucks. Also I met Doug of Dougs tranny shop in the same yard( he's a friend of my buddies) he seems pretty knowledgeable(spelling?) and his brother has a fab business and builds trophy trucks. Its a pretty good one-stop shop so to speak

Hi, there all you Mopar guys.....I am back from the frozen north.  Will be spending every winter here from now on.  We moved to Utah and did one winter to see if we can stand it.  I can't.   I was diagnosed with Parkinson's last fall, and the cold aggravates it.  So far it is just that, an aggravation.
Some day, it will be more than that.....

Now, the reason I am posting....
At ecology on 27th ave, there is a 1976 3/4 ton v8 4x4 military dodge truck in camo paint, with MANUAL STEERING BOX, and an extra big steering wheel as well.  It had only one fan belt, for water  pump and alternator, but those brackets were taken by Larry, the friend I was with.  There is a new looking alternator there that Larry said was a high amp one, looks like an ordinary one to me, certainly not one of those leece neville boat anchors.  But Larry knows about these things....
Also, too, and in addtion, there was a brand new looking radiator in one of the vans....

And as an ADDED BONUS, tomorrow is half off day.  They are doing it at the 27th ave location on Tues and Thurs, at Broadway location on Mon and Wednesday.
Larry and I will be there tomorrow, my cell is 602-228-0549

Forgot to mention, that old military truck also has overload springs.....This is a 1976 with zero emissions stuff, zero power stuff, etc.  I forgot to check the tranny, wonder if it has a PTO?

there is an 80's chevy 3/4ton at the pick-a-part on buckeye that had all the 8-lug outers still intact on the 10-bolt front. take everything from the spindles out and you can convert your dana-44 to 8-lug for about $100! the locking hubs are gone, but the grease left behind is still fresh.

tranny is now gone, and 241 is laying on the ground. driveshafts are still attached. un-bolt them, and run with that thing! $62.50 is like free.

Ly Salvage yard in Coolidge/Florence
12980 E. Kenilworth Rd
(if you mapquest it, it's the yard on the north side just east of the star)
They have a 79 van with the 15x7 turbine wheels (general lee type)
A couple 70's trucks and vans.
A 92 pickup mostly complete, doors and tail gate dented pretty bad.

Auto Salvage Co.
943 W. Magnolia
Phoenix, AZ 85007
602-252-4591

They have mostly 95 to current Chrysler Dodge and Jeep parts.
I got everything I needed to change from drums the discs on the wife's Stratus for 125, rotors, calibers, brackets, etc.  The guy is really friendly and knowledgeable.

At the yard just South of Ecology auto parts off of 27th ave. (at the red water tower) is a 79' Dodge Powerwagon with the cool combo bucket seats and console. They are black, not perfect but would be neat for a truck or ramcharger.  No Ramchargers at either though. Sad  I was looking for a roll bar.

I went their once for a part for my wife's niece's car.  I didn't have time to look around much, so I can't say what they do and don't have.  I'll have to check them out later this week when I get some time off and let you know what they have.

I just wasn't sure where it actually was. If it's an actual "Pick-n-Pull" brand yard, it's not on their website as a location. If it's just a yard where you do the actual part removal, I'd like to know more Smiley Thanks Agree

Nevermind- The yard on Extension in Mesa and West Broadway in Phoenix are "Pick-a-Part" yards. I'll probably try and stop by the one in Phoenix today as I'll be on that side of town. They supposedly have a 74 RC.

Figured I'd bring this a little up to date:

Ecology (on West Broadway) has ONE 1973 d100 that still has some small pieces left in the engine bay. Other than that, there are ZERO other Dodge trucks/RCs

Pick-n-Pull West (also on West Broadway) has an 81 D350, an 81 RC, a 73 W200, and a 73W200 that has a divorced 205, jackshaft, shift linkage, and crossmember. If I wasn't in the market for that type of setup, I'd be all over it.

The one at the N.E. corner of 56th st and Chandler Blvd is called "Greenleaf auto recyclers".  Theirs two parts, one is on the south part of the building that does phone orders, the other is on the north side of the building.  This is the one I went to a couple years ago.
It's been a while since I was at the one on Main and Extension in Mesa.  But the mechanic I used to work with used to go their all the time (because our shop was just up the street).  They're always crushing vehicles every other week, so you'll have to visit it frequently.  I needed a fuel tank, but they refused to sell me one.

The Main & Extension Pick-n-Pull doesn't have any dodge trucks/RCs from 74-80. I'm not sure on anything else, but that I know.

Pick-A-Part on the south side of Broadway Rd. just east of Ecology has a few 80's ramchargers.  I already got a few pieces off of them.

I was at the yard on the south side of Broadway on Tuesday and got a set of reclining seats for my Rc from a 90.  The ramcharger I got the seats out of had the optional 2.5" lift (front springs and rear spacers) if any one's interested.  They also have a few vans with the big plush seats.  Paid $41.40 for both seats, just got to take the old ones back for the core.

was out scouting today, and didnt find a dang thing i needed. but i did find a ramcharger at pick-a-part on broadway with a lift under it. used blocks in the rear, but it was complete including the steering arm spacer on the knuckle. there are also two 80-84 1/2-ton trucks there with complete front axles (worth noting to me because they are non-CAD. i hate CAD!)

at the pull-a-part on buckeye there is a 73' with a divorced 727 and 205. the engine is gone already, so it would just be a handfull of bolts and the rest is out. 727 is short-tail, fixed yoke, and looked to be small-block. and there is also a late 90's ram there with a complete magnum 360. and by complete, i mean complete. truck was hit real hard in pass. door, but i dont think anything is missing from under the hood yet. truck is yellow.

Did you notice the missing seats, and dome lights. Roll Eyes
That's the "Dealer option" 2.5" lift.  Definitely worth getting the front springs at least.

Just figured I'd give an update:

Pick-n-pull in Chandler (Chandler Blvd and 56th St.) has 1 73 pickup and 3 77 pickups. They each have their own unique things going on with them. The 73 is rough, one of the 77s is green and grey, small block, 2x4 with a nice clean green glovebox lid and dash pad. Cluster is still there and the green door panels are in pretty decent shape. Another 77 (right across the isle from the green one) is tannish in color and holds either a 400 or a 440 (a cursory glance looked like a 400 to me) with a q-jet and all the accessories still there (alternator, ps pump, rv2 compressor and all of the bracketry) with a really rough interior. The other 77 was also a small block, missing radiator, really rough interior.

Just in case anyone was looking Smiley Agree
